I’m so super proud
to be representing the Northern Rivers Wildlife Carers in a video produced by
Echonetdaily . The wonderful and hugely talented Sharon Shostak
visited our place on Saturday and was a dream to work
with. She did an amazing job in
capturing the essence of our organisation.
Feeling really proud of our organisation, the work we do and the other
members who were interviewed.
Enjoy.
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing. I admire you and the other workers for the work you do looking after the wild animals. I am not so sure about the snakes :) Our domestic pet vet also runs a wildlife rescue, which we can only support financially as there are so many rules about having wildlife in residential areas. In our area the wildlife we get are mostly deer, raccoons, skunks, squirrels and coyotes injured on the roads along with the domestic cats and dogs. Thankfully we have a university that has a vet college as part of their campus and they also do some wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. ...... Mary-Lou of Southern Ontario, Canada
ReplyDeleteI've often wondered what it would be like to do wildlife caring in another country ! Can't imagine rehabilitating a skunk :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear that your local Vet and University are involved with wildlife, that sort of support can make all the difference.
We're very lucky to have a major wildlife hospital just over an hour away, and one local vet clinic in particular that really goes out of their way to assist.
