Surprises from CHA

So two weeks ago all the best and brightest in the scrapbooking industry were attending the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) expo at Anaheim, California.  Like many of you l followed their adventures via social media and imagined what it would be like to see all of the latest products and the chance to bump into some of the big names………..

Well, l’ll let you into a little secret.  Whilst l wasn’t there, someone l know was.  My mother, Mandy – of pearlmaple.blogspot.com.au – attended CHA, representing Practical Publishing International Pty Ltd.

AND, she brought me back a few little surprises from the show.

Whilst she was speaking to the different exhibitors – she got to meet some of my absolute favourite people including Becky Higgins, Ali Edwards and Amy Tangerine.  Wow.  I truly cannot imagine what it would be like to meet these guys. 

I have been a HUGE fan of Becky Higgins' for many, many years – ever since l discovered scrapbooking really. So when l was given this…..l almost fell over.

Ali Edwards is amazing, and likewise l have been a fan of hers for so long.  I love her blog and her approach to memory keeping.  So again, l was a puddle on the floor when l received this.  I would recognise that woman’s handwriting anywhere !.

And Amy Tangerine.  I’ve only recently discovered Amy, but her products put a smile on my face and brighten my day.  AND importantly for people in Australia, you can get her products straight from Spotlight.  Beautiful.

Sounds like everyone was super friendly, and happy to hear how their products/classes were making a difference, all the way down here in regional Australia! 

These little surprises from CHA really made my day and of course will feature in this week's Project Life layout !
